Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has turned out to be another blockbuster. The film that released this Eid has shattered box office numbers and has become the biggest opener of 2015. It has also entered the Rs 100 crore club! Directed by Kabir Khan, the Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor-starrer film also features the talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the cute little girl Harshaali Malhotra playing pivotal roles. The film is about a journey which depicts the tale of a small Pakistani girl who gets stranded in India after crossing the border (Pakistan) unknowingly. The movie shows a very nice Indo-Pak relation and once again reminds us about brotherhood and loving thy neighbours.

Bangistan: Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat-starrer Bangistan also puts light on Indo-Pak relations and gives out the message of loving our neighbours and cutting down the hatred. The film revolves around two young guns with ordinary talent and lofty ideologies. Bangistan is directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The story of the film revolves around two budding terrorists who decide to swap their religions in order to finish the other community.

Mission Kashmir: Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film had Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The film focuses on the story of Altaaf, played by Hrithik Roshan, a young boy whose family gets killed in a police raid against terrorists. Learning that the boy has lost his family and has no one to survive, Sanjay Dutt (one of the police officers who killed the family) adopts him, but when Altaaf grows up and realizes the truth, he seeks revenge against his adoptive father by becoming a terrorist. The movie deals with the India-Pakistan conflict and focuses especially on the children caught between the terrorism!

Veer Zara: Veer Zara, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta, is a love story based on Indo-Pak conflict. Directed by Yash Chopra, Veer Zara tells the story of an Indian Airforce Squadron Leader (played by Shah Rukh Khan) who falls in love with a Pakistani lady (played by Preity Zinta) during the India-Pakistan crisis. The story ends and shows a beautiful bond between the two when they reunite at the end of the film.

It focuses on Fiza's (played by Karisma Kapoor) struggle to find her brother Aman (played by Hrithik) who had disappeared in the 1993 Bombay riots. When Fiza finally finds his brother, she learns that he has joined a terrorist organization and all his loyalties lie with them. The film focuses on how numerous acts of terrorism rip this family apart and lead to their untimely demise.

The film is set in 1947 and is a love story between a Jatt Sikh (played by Sunny Deol) and a Muslim girl (played by Ameesha Patel) with the India-Pakistan partition as its backdrop. The film once again sends a message of harmony between India-Pakistan and promotes brotherhood. Gadar is one of the biggest hits of 2001 and had received accolades from all over the nation.

Bombay: Mani Ratnam's directorial Bombay is still remembered for its magnificant work. It tells the story of Shekhar (played by Arvind Swamy), a Hindu journalist, and Shaila (Manisha Koirala), a Muslim school girl. The film focuses on their journey from falling in love in their village to their elopement to Bombay (now Mumbai) to their happy nuclear family. Just as they are trying to mend their relationship with their respective families, the religious tensions start escalating in Bombay putting their lives at stake. The latter half of the film shows how the religious riots threaten the safety of their non-traditional family and how they cope when faced with the heinous acts of terrorism from both sides.
