Esha Gupta has long been friends with famed designer Nikhil Thampi. From wearing his creations to partying it up with the talented young designer, their cute pictures together have often given fans ‘friendship goals’. However, their recent banter over Instagram, had fans and the media guessing if the two were in fact in a secret relationship.

However, Esha has now gone on record to rubbish the claims with her post that read, “Ok guys he is one of my closest best friends. We love each other, as friends. JUST FRIENDS... He’s one of my bffs n I’m very lucky to have him... @nikhilthampi why don’t you love me back eh? Anyways hope this clarifies all the media reports... also, find me a man someone been single forever... thanks.”

Rumours of Esha dating Nikhil began doing the round after the bombshell shared a few pictures on her social media handle and captioned one as, "C’mon now I am ready", along with an emoji of a ring. Her referring to him as "boyfriend" in another post further threw rumour mongers off track.

According to reports, the actress and the designer are best buddies and like to keep poking fun and teasing the other.

Deepika Padukone's ex-boyfriend Nihar Pandya is all set to mark his debut with Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. Though he is making debut in the film, he is still being referred to as Deepika's ex. However, Nihar has no issues for being tagged with it always. According to a report, talking about the same, he said that he doesn’t get worked up over it. He stated that even his press note on his acting debut was sent out referring to him as ‘ex-boyfriend’ and he feels that he can't do anything about it now.

Nihar said that he maintains a cordial relationship with Deepika and hopes that the people’s perception changes once they watch him onscreen. The actor will be portraying the character of Bajirao II in the film. He said that he has trained under Nicholas Powell, one of Hollywood’s biggest action directors, for two months. Also, the director checked out his action and horse riding skills before signing him for the film.

Recent rumours of Bollywood actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha dating each other which have been making rounds on the Internet have finally come to an end with Ali's recent Instagram post.
The 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi' actor took to Instagram to share an adorable and cute picture with his lady-love which he captioned "One of my favourite pictures. है तो है ।". Richa had recently accompanied her 'Fukrey' co-star Ali Fazal to the premiere of his film 'Victoria & Abdul' at the 74th Venice International Film Festival and rumours sparked.

The new couple to join the existing couples of B-town will soon be seen together on the silver screen in 'Fukrey Returns' which is slated to release on December 8, 2017.

Post his separation from ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani, Farhan Akhtar was rumoured to be dating his 'Rock On 2' co-star Shraddha Kapoor. However, the duo always maintained that they shared a close friendship and nothing more.
In a recent chat with Bombay Times, when the actor was asked whether he felt like being in a relationship as he is single now, he said, "At this point, I'm not thinking about being in a relationship so seriously. Whatever has to happen, will happen. Whatever is spoken or written about is a part and parcel of what we do, which you have to take in your stride."
Farhan added, "Unfortunately, your friendship with the person in question gets affected because you become conscious of it. Sadly, it's not cool. All of this is based on Chinese whispers."
Farhan and Adhuna, who got married in 2000, were granted divorce on April 24, 2017.

Reports about 'Raabta' actors, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon dating each other refused to die down after Sushant's drive with Kriti in the Maserati Quattroporte that he had gifted himself on his birthday in January.
Sushant rubbished the rumours, by saying, "It’s not like I bought the car and took Kriti for a ride,” he laughed. He further explained, “I had taken the car out for a spin alone the day it was delivered. Nobody clicked any pictures then.” Sushant assumes all the stories about Kriti and him are interesting but untrue.
He further added, “I read about this thing between us, then there were stories about a fight and a break-up and then suddenly, probably because of the Maserati, we were back together." "We are good friends. She’s an engineer and I was studying to be one too before I dropped out. We’re both from Delhi, big foodies and like spending time together. Period." Sushant concluded.

Kangana Ranaut, who essays the feisty character of Julia in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’, is known for speaking her mind, and fans love her for that. Unlike her contemporaries, the actress has often gone on record to talk about her love life.

In a recent interaction with Bombay Times, Kangana spilled the beans on her break-ups. “I tend to get over it really quickly! When I am in a relationship, I am really into it, but when it’s over, I never look back. I have a record of never going back to my exes, never meeting them again. All my exes want to get back with me, that’s also a record I hold,” she said. When asked if she believes in the concept of Valentine’s Day, she quipped, “When I was younger, it meant a lot more. Now I don’t think it holds as much significance; you don’t wait for a Valentine to propose to you. In our age group, it unfolds differently.”

According to a report on Mid-day.com, Alia Bhatt will star opposite rumoured boyfriend, Sidharth Malhotra in Mohit Suri's next. The report further states that Alia and Sidharth reportedly met the filmmaker. Mohit believes that his cousin, Alia is not only a big star, but also an emotional actress. Besides their debut film, the duo have also recently been paired up for a soft-drink commercial and their pair has been much-appreciated.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Akshara Haasan has quashed rumours of dating Rati Agnihotri's son, Tanuj Virwani. The report claims that she was often spotted on the sets of her mother's film, Purani Jeans, where she got friendly with her Rati Agnihotri's son, Tanuj Virwani.They have since been spotted together at events and are reportedly going steady. But Akshara refutes the claims vehemently. “I have so many friends in the industry and he is only one of them," she says.

According to a report in Bombay Times, Sidharth Malhotra, who is being linked to Alia Bhatt, his co-star from his first film, wondered where the news is originating from. “We don’t know how it all started. Alia and I have been hanging out with each other way before. She is my first co-star and Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and I would spend lot of time together. It’s not something that has happened suddenly,” said Sidharth Malhotra. Further, when asked how he reacts to link-up rumors about him, the actor said, "Whatever you read is not necessarily true. There is 50 per cent chance that the news is incorrect. The ones who have to believe, believe, the rest don’t."

Bipasha Basu, who is all set for her latest release Alone, has had several reports talking about her link-ups with her co-actors. The actress says that she has become immune to such rumours, but this time around the 35-year-old might not entertain any such nonsense. In an interview with Hindustan Times, when asked to talk about the buzz hinting at her being the reason behind Karan Singh Grover parting ways with wife Jennifer Winget, she said, "I wish people give me that respect and not make up such stories. When we started shooting, everyone on the set knew that there were issues between Karan and his wife, and that was long ago. If people drag me into the discussion now, I will not be quiet and entertain this nonsense." The actress said to HT that she has grown a very thick skin because of these link-up stories.

Shahid Kapoor, the chocolate boy of Bollywood has been linked with most of his co-stars. The actor was rumoured to be dating Huma Qureshi, but he puts an end to the stories. On being asked about Huma, Shahid said, "I have met Huma just twice. I am used to such stories now. If I go for a coffee with someone I get linked. Thankfully till now it's restricted to girls and I hope people don't run out of options and link me with boys." While talking about his Phata Poster Nikla Hero co-star Ileana D'Cruz, Shahid said, "I and Ileana never went for coffee or films and so my name has not been linked with her. Her schedule has been very busy from South to Mumbai and hence we didn't go for a walk or were seen in a car," concluded Shahid.

Ileana D'Cruz, who entered Bollywood with Barfi! didn't become a victim of link-ups in the industry. The actress shared screen space with the Kapoor scion in Barfi! and was seen with Shahid Kapoor in Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Ranbir and Shahid are linked with most of their co-stars, but Ileana D'Cruz has been an exception. On being asked about the same, she said, "I don't know why I am not linked with anyone. Might be I am a very boring girl (chuckles). As far as there is chemistry on screen it works for me."

Ranveer Singh is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood today. On being asked about how he deals with rumours, he said, "There was a time when it used to affect me a lot and I used to think about it. Later, rumours and gossip started coming in on regular intervals. Now, I don't read stories about me and they don't affect me now. When I entered Bollywood I used to be affected a lot. The industry is the same towards me. Everyone is nice to me and they haven't changed. Fortunately for me, people didn't change according to my success or failure."

Huma Qureshi has no godfather in Bollywood and the lady is new to the world of rumours and link-ups. The actress claims that link-up stories bother her, but has learnt to take it with a pinch of salt. On being asked whether rumours disturb her, Huma said, "Link-ups affect me, but I still love it. I was terribly upset and I spoke to Emraan and he said that you are a desirable girl. Take it that way. I must be important that people are linking me with important people. If I was not important no one would talk about me." She added, "I think I will stop buying newspapers to stop reading such stories. Few people just like reading link-up stories and they still don't know who I am dating and that's important."

Puja Gupta, like any other beauty pageant winner, expected to make it big when she entered Bollywood with F.A.L.T.U. However, the actress had to wait till Go Goa Gone came her way. In a candid conversation with TOI, the actress spoke about her link-up rumours with Neil Nitin Mukesh. "I got the movie because of Neil as I used to meet him at parties. He liked my screen presence and he gave my name to the makers. First the director rejected me, but he met me again and then he approved me as a lead actress. The industry has changed, there are no affairs. People are young, they don't have time for affairs. The era to hook up with actors has gone. I am single and very happy in life. It's good to work," said Puja.

Jackky Bhagnani seems to get better and better with every film. The actor has been in the news with his link-ups in the industry. He allegedly dated Nidhi Subbaiah (his co-star in Ajab Ghazab Love), broke up with her in December last year, due to "compatibility issues." Jackky spoke to TOI about his link-ups with co-stars. "It is a part and parcel of the industry to get linked with your co-stars, I assure you I am single," said Jackky.
