Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

If Game of Thrones was to be remade in India, what do you think the cast would look like?

He isn’t your stereotypical geek, he might be physically impaired but he makes up for this deficiency with his knowledge. He uses his satirical humor and wit to get out of compromising situations. He is none other than Tyrion Lannister our beloved imp. SRK is an exceptional actor and he is exactly who we need to do justice to the role of Tyrion Lannister. And after Ashoka its common knowledge that King Khan looks absolutely breathtaking in armor. We're sure all of his fans can’t wait to see him kick some butt on the battlefield again. If SRK was to play the role of Tyrion Lannister, we all would end up having “a tender spot in our heart for cripples, b******s and broken things.”

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Aishwarya Rai as Cersei Lannister- Check and mate doesn’t happen to stop this queen from getting what she wants. To the world she portrays herself to be a damsel in distress but fear her for she is no abla nari. Aishwarya Rai’s role in Khakee is so similar to that of Queen Cersei. Now Cersei doesn’t have all bad characteristics, well, besides good looks, she is a devoted mother and since Aishwarya herself has first-hand experience at being a mother this would come quite naturally to her.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Aditya Roy Kapur as Jon Snow- We'll definitely sleep better at night with Adi guarding the wall. Jon Snow is Eddard Starks' illegitimate son, for this reason he hasn’t been accepted by Catelyn Stark. He lives in Winterfell among his half brothers and sisters but always feels like an outcast. After seeing Aditya in Aashiqui 2 and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani we know for sure that if it is a disturbed and troubled look you’re going for then Aditya Roy Kapur is your man.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Jacqueline Fernandez as Daenerys Targaryen
“I am Daenerys Stormborn, daughter of dragons, bride of dragons, mother of dragons.” We can almost imagine Jacqueline in a position as a supreme power saying these lines. Throughout the series we see Daenerys exhibit traits of kindness and humility. You’d think that she exhibits such traits because of her royal birth but in reality Dany has never lived a life of luxury. Every action has an equal opposite reaction; in her case the reaction was always three times worse and most of the time she was paying the penalty of others actions. The role of Khaleesi is most fitting for Jac to show her perfect body off and be the strong and independent woman she is.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Alia Bhatt as Arya Stark- So maybe this one is going to come as a shock because almost every time we’ve seen Alia on the big screen she has been the typical girl next door. But her fiery performance in 2 States has made us believe otherwise. In this movie she plays the role of a strong independent woman, Ananya Swaminathan, who isn’t scared of taking matters into her own hands. Moreover, Ananya hates being told what to do. So, she's ideal for the role of Arya because little Stark isn’t afraid of sticking anyone with the “pointy end”.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Arjun Rampal as Jaime Lannister- This is one character that never fails to drive you to the edge of you seat. He is also thoroughly disliked because of his villainous personality. Do you remember Mukesh from Om Shanti Om? He would do almost anything to get his way, even kill the so-called love of his life. Jaime could also go to any lengths to protect his secret (that he sleeps with his sister) and for that he is even ready to kill little Bran Stark. Jaime Lannister has us all in a dilemma because it is very hard to hate a smoking hot villain. So Arjun is apt for this role.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Naseeruddin Shah as Tywin Lannister- Never underestimate the power of The Common Man. Shah saab plays the role of The Common Man in the movie A Wednesday! in which he single handedly makes the Government dance on his finger tips. Does this remind you of anyone in Game of Thrones? If so, it's Tywin Lannister, the head of House Lannister. He is a very hard man and is used to getting his way. The very thought of war and violence pleases him and he is not a very good father. Remember Naseer is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara? Not a very good father huh? At least he’s always there to bail his children out of any problem they face. Shah saab you are indebted to us for giving you such an important role and well as you already know “A Lannister always pays his debts.”

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Emraan Hashmi as Petyr Baelish- It’s time to meet “the second most devious man in the Seven Kingdoms," Petyr Littlefinger Baelish. You could say he is the slimy sleaze bag in Game of Thrones. An intriguing fact about Littlerfinger is that you never really know whose side he is on, quite similar to Emraan from Jannat 2, isn’t it? You’d think he’s on the right side but soon you realize that he is on no one’s side, but his own. This skilled manipulator never fails to surprise us and who better than Emraan to play this role? One small thing to keep in mind Emraan babu, Master of Coin doesn’t mean you own all that money, it only means that you are entrusted with the responsibility to handle the expenses.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Sidharth Malhotra as Robb Stark- All hail the King of the North. Don’t you think Sid would look absolutely stunning sitting on that Iron Throne? It’s like it was made for him. But Robb Stark has no such intentions, all he wants is to be King of the North and he doesn’t care much for the throne. The little that we’ve seen of Sid on the big screen; we know one thing for sure he’s a lover boy always aiming for the forbidden fruit, be it his best friend’s girl or his fiancé’s sister. Even here, Robb follows his heart and marries someone he isn’t supposed to, it’s almost like they’re the same person, isn’t it? And thus it seems most fitting for Sid to give the Lannisters a run for the throne.

Bollywood cast for Game of Thrones

Jackie Shroff as Eddard Stark- Eddard Stark is a man of principles but it is those principles that lead him to his downfall. For this role we not only need someone who is authoritative, but also someone who is wise beyond his years and who better than Jackie Dada to play this role. Eddard Stark is an impeccable father and a great lord but his honor prevents him from being a great politician. One role in particular that bears a striking resembles to that of Ned Starks is when Jackie Dada played Raj Singh Puri in Yaadein. It’s time to suit up Shroff Dada, winter is coming.
