Bollywood actors who wish to work with Salman Khan

Superstar Salman Khan is one star ever Bollywood director, producer, actor and even actress wants to work with. He is one of the stars who has been ruling the hearts of millions over the past three decades. Like any good wine, he just keeps getting better and better with age.

With 11 films in the 100-crore club, there is no wonder why many fellow actors vie for a film opposite Sallu. Here's a list of actors who expressed their wish to work with the 'Bhaijaan' of Bollywood someday.

Deepika Padukone, who has been soaring high in her career, had once expressed her wish to work with Salman Khan. While the opportunity came knocking at her door, things, however, didn't go as planned. Reportedly, the actress rejected a few films opposite Salman, sighting date issues.

Deepika is currently awaiting the release of 'Padmavati', where she will be sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. The film is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Rumours have been rife that British beauty Amy Jackson will soon be starring in a film opposite Salman Khan. While she has starred opposite bigwigs like Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in '2.0', and also played the leading lady in a Salman Khan production titled 'Freaky Ali', she has not starred opposite bhaijaan himself.


Addressing rumours of a possible collaboration, the '2.0' actress said it is her dream to work with Salman and that she is sure a film will happen. Amy revealed that whenever they meet, they talk about it. She also admitted that a role with Salman will make her year.

Alia Bhatt once said she would love to work with Salman Khan during the press conference at an award show. When asked if people will see her in a film opposite bhaijaan, she immediately replied saying she would love to.

Salman, on the other hand, replied with a dash of humour saying that they will be doing the remake of 'Papa the Great'.

Farhan Akhtar had once stated that he approached Salman Khan for two films, but things didn't work out. Although the duo doesn't share a close bond with each other, the actor says he would love to work with Sallu in the future, if he would like to be a part of the film. He also said that Salman taught him cycling and swimming.

According to various reports, actress Mahira Khan is also keen to work with Salman Khan. The actress reportedly voiced her desire soon after the release of her debut Bollywood film 'Raees' which starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

If and when this dream does take flight, one can hope that it doesn't have as many controversies surrounding it as 'Raees' did, considering Mahira's Pakistani nationality and the cross-border tension.

After working with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Dilwale', Kriti Sanon has now set her sights on Salman Khan. According to reports, Kriti has also expressed her desire to work with Salman in a film. The actress has managed to make a mark in the film industry within a very short time. She was last seen in the hit flick 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' which also starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao.

Sunny Leone had once said that Salman Khan is one of the few reasons why she is in Bollywood. While expressing her gratitude towards the star during an interview, she also said that she was positive that one day her dream of working the 'Dabangg' Khan will come true. Till then Sunny said she'll keep watching his movies.

The actress was last seen in Sanjay Dutt's comeback film 'Bhoomi' for a special number 'Trippy Trippy'.

Reportedly, it was Salman Khan who suggested that the makers of 'Shivaay' cast Sayesha Saigal in the film. The actress, who has been mentored by Sallu had revealed in an interview that she not only wants to do a film with 'Bhai' but also wants to romance him on screen.

Sayesha, the grand-niece of Saira Banu, created waves after rumours of Salman Khan launching her started doing rounds.

Akanksha Puri, famous for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Calendar Girls' once stated that she is an actor only because of Salman Khan. She also stated that he was the reason why she pursued a profession in showbusiness. Also, if given a chance, she would love to do a film with Bhaijaan.
