Did you know Ranbir Kapoor said no to this blockbuster Hollywood film?

Hollywood has become the next level milestone to achieve for our stars back home. From Priyanka Chopra to Deepika Padukone, most of our actors look forward to working with the English film industry once they have quenched their thirst for the Indian one. But not Ranbir Kapoor! This Kapoor lad, in his latest interaction, revealed something that has shocked his fans big time. Talking about his interest in Hollywood, Ranbir shared that once he was approached for being a part of 'Star Wars' as the second lead. However, the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actor refused the offer as he is scared of auditions. We wonder what it would have been like seeing Ranbir a part of the Star Wars team. Splendid indeed!

Actress Nargis Fakhri, who was seen in Hollywood film 'Spy', has signed her next Hollywood project. The movie titled '5 Weddings' will be helmed by actor-turned-producer Namrata Singh Gujral. Nargis will be playing the lead in the film and will be seen sharing screen space with Oscar nominee Candy Clark and Golden Globe nominee Bo Derek. Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Anil Kapoor has been a part of quite a few Hollywood projects so far. The actor is also credited with bringing the American show, 24, to the Indian shores and adapting it for the desi audience. However, when asked in an interview, if he now felt like a Hollywood star, Anil quipped, "I feel like a Bollywood star anywhere in the world." Anil plays the dominating and controlling dad, Kamal Mehra, in Dil Dhadakne Do, for whom it's always 'my way or the highway.' However, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actor has admitted that it was a nice change for him to play a character like that, as it was quite the opposite for him in his own family. “It was good fun to play him because in my own family of strong-willed individuals, it's always their way, never my way. No one is in the slightest bit afraid or in awe of me," admitted Anil in the interview. He also rued the fact that his own family wasn't able to promote his film. Talking about the same, he said, "Rhea is also publicity-shy like her mother, Sonam's focussed on Neerja and Harsh is under contract with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra. So I faced the camera alone, that's my status in my family."

While Anil Kapoor feels like a Bollywood actor even while in Hollywood, let's take a look at some actors whom we would like to see crossing borders...

Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Shah Rukh Khan: The baadshah of Bollywood has made his mark in Hindi cinema. SRK started his acting career from TV before trying his hand at films. Although Shah Rukh was seen in more negative roles in the beginning of his career, he soon became a romantic hero and everyone’s favourite at that. Having ruled the industry for more than 20 years, this Khan can certainly make it big in Hollywood and can be in the league of Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt. Though SRK has not yet signed any Hollywood projects that we know of, we sure do hope the West wakes up to this magician soon. They don't know what they are missing!

Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Hrithik Roshan: Often referred to as a Greek God, Hrithik justifies the title with his smouldering good looks. Often compared to ace Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, Hrithik has the physique, looks and acting abilities to give any Hollywood actor, a run for their money. A name to reckon with, Hrithik has a fabulous body of work in Bollywood and is a favourite amongst fans. Hrithik and his father are one of the first to bring the superhero genre to Bollywood with their film Krrish. We think Hollywood hasn't seen the epitome of good looks till they see Hrithik on-screen. However, we sure do hope that the actor doesn't stop doing his Bollywood projects as he is one of the finest actors we have in the industry.

Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Saif Ali Khan: The chote Nawab of Pataudi has the legacy, class and charm to make it big in Hollywood. Saif has slowly and steadily climbed the up the career charts and is now equated with the other Khans in terms of his acting abilities and looks. A producer himself, Saif’s liking for slick films like Agent Vinod and Go Goa Gone will make him a perfect fit in Hollywood. Why, we even see him replacing Daniel Craig to become the next suave Bond.

Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Farhan Akhtar: After an exemplary performance in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, multi-talented actor Farhan Akhtar seems to be a perfect fit in Hollywood. The director-turned-actor has proved that it takes more than just famous parents to survive in the industry and this is what makes him fit for Hollywood. Farhan’s sensibilities matched with his heightened sense of commitment to his work will make him a sure-shot hit there!

Bollywood actors fit for Hollywood

Ranbir Kapoor: A rising star of the Hindi film industry and scion of the Kapoor family, Ranbir has proved his mettle in a short span of time. From the beginning of his career, Ranbir experimented with roles like Wake Up Sid, Saawariya, Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year and Barfi! A youth icon, Ranbir has inspired many senior actors too in Bollywood with his talent and acting ability. His versatility, popularity and plenty of good looks make him a perfect fit for Hollywood.
