'Bareilly Ki Barfi' director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari thanks fans for appreciating her film

Produced by Junglee Pictures and BR Studios, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' has had a sweet start to its run at the ticket window. The film has been appreciated by the audiences and lauded by the film fraternity. Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari took to her social networking handle to thank cinema lovers and fans for showering their love on the film and keeping theatre shows running house full.
To get a first-hand audience reaction, she headed over to a cinema hall in the city and was pleased to see it filled to full capacity. She took a picture of the audience and captioned the post as, "Gratitude! A full house with my cinema lovers. �������������� what fun to see, laugh #bareillykibarfi with all of them. Thank-you so much for the appreciation. It's not over yet. Please spread the love. laugh and cry out loud with your loved ones. @jungleepictures @brstudiosllp @ayushmannk @rajkummar_rao @kritisanon."

The film, which is set in the North Indian town of Bareilly, brings together Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao for the first time on-screen.

'Dangal' director Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Rajkummar Rao are all National Award winners. Moreover, the film's cast comprises of talented actors and we can definitely say that the film is backed by a National Award winning team. 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is inspired from a French novel titled 'Ingredients of Love'

'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is a romantic comedy which is inspired from a French novel titled 'Ingredients of love'. Writer Nitesh Tiwari has adapted the book into the script and has changed the setting of the story from France to Uttar Pradesh. Based on the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh, the actors had to work on their dialect specially for the film to look more realistic. Kriti Sanon too will be seen in such a de-glam role for the first time while Ayushmann and Rajkummar Rao worked hard on their looks and character to make it look more realistic.

Talented bunch of actors

National Award winner Rajkummar Rao, who plays one of the leads in the film, has struck a chord with the audiences with his portrayal of Pritam Vidrohi. Looking at few of her recently released movies, Kriti Sanon has been trying hands on different roles and is proving her acting skills by taking up roles widely different from her previous ones, and her role in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is one such different one. She has put in a lot of effort in developing the character and making it look more realistic. Last but not the least, Ayushmann Khurrana is seen in a different avatar in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and has delivered a power packed performance, glimpses of which can be seen in the trailer.
