However, a malicious rumour has been doing the rounds regarding the stars of the film and the director decided to step in and quell the false reports. Gossip mills were running amok with the rumour that the shoot for the film has been delayed because of Sushant Singh Rajput getting ‘too friendly’ with Sanjana, which she did not appreciate. However, taking to Twitter, Mukesh rubbished it saying that it is “a figment of wild imagination”. He also added that there are no delays and that they are “cruising ahead like one big happy unit”. Uma Thurman's action-packed 'Kill Bill' to be remade in Bollywood?

Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino’s style of filmmaking is something that every aspiring director would want to try. His film ‘Kill Bill’ starring Uma Thurman not only received immense accolades in Hollywood but also got fame in India. And now since female-centric films are being considered in Bollywood more often, actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi is planning to remake ‘Kill Bill’ in Hindi.

His last film, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ did extremely well at the box office and was appreciated to have explored women’s mind and capture womanhood with near perfection. Now he wants to continue his rooting for women by remaking one of the most iconic films which revolved around a woman’s tale of vengeance. Nikhil has reportedly also purchased the rights of ‘Kill Bill’.

An official announcement about the same is yet to be made as things are still in the initial stages. For the uninitiated, ‘Kill Bill’, is the story of a bride who seeks revenge on her lover and leader of their gang Bill played by David Carradine and other assassins after they attack her and their unborn child in a chapel.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon to star in the Hindi remake of 'Dirty Dancing'?

Though Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s last outing, 'Raabta' tanked at the box office, their chemistry made the headlines for all the right reasons. Now looks like the two are all set to collaborate again on the big screen for the Hindi remake of 1987 cult movie, 'Dirty Dancing'. Lionsgate Television, that produced a television movie by the same name in 2017 is keen on making an Indian version with the same storyline.

A source close to the development revealed to a tabloid, that the script is currently being worked to suit the Indian audience. The main storyline of the project is expected to be the same. The source further added that Sushant and Kriti are skilled dancers, and hence are the top contenders for the lead roles.

Reportedly before Sushant and Kriti, the makers had approached Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani for the same. But the duo turned down the offer because of their hectic schedule. Tiger is currently shooting for Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year 2' while Disha will soon start shooting for the period drama, 'Sanghamitra'.

‘The Fault In Our Stars’ remake: Sanjana Sanghi to star opposite Sushant Singh Rajput

The remake of the famous Hollywood film ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ has been in the pipeline for a long time. While Sushant Singh Rajput’s name had already cropped up to play the male lead, the spot for the leading lady remained vacant until now.

Mukesh Chhabra, who is making his directing debut, has confirmed that newcomer Sanjana Sanghi has been cast as the female lead for the remake. Apparently, he already knew her as he has been a casting director for a long time. Mukesh has previously worked with Sanjana in ‘Rockstar’ and reconnected a few years later for some ad jobs. It was at this point that the director found her to be the perfect face to play the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster in the remake. After Sanjana nailed her look test and audition, there was no doubt that she was an ideal match for the film.
