SS Rajamouli's Bahubali did an Earth-shattering business at the box office. The film was not only highly appreciated by cinema goers but also by film critics. Its larger than life cinema experience and grandeur was one of the important things that drew audiences to cinema halls. The craze to watch the film was so huge in some parts of South that people were even ready to buy the film tickets in black for an exorbitant price of Rs 10000. 'Bahubali' crosses Rs 500 crore mark at the box office in four weeks: Looks like there is no stopping for Prabhas and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer Bahubali. After conquering box office and millions of heart with larger than life cinema experience, the film has now gone ahead to add another feather to its cap. According to a report on Newsnation.in, the film has made another mark by earning Rs 500 crore in four weeks. The report further stated that Bahubali has now become the highest business making South Indian film, leaving behind sci-fi hit Enthiran which earned Rs 283 crore. The other records that the film holds are, being fastest among all Indian films to reach Rs 100 crore (2 days), Rs 200 crore (5 days), and Rs 300 crore (8 days) thresholds of international box office revenue.

Rs 60 crore at GBOC - record opening at BOC: Since the time Bahubali released, it was on a record breaking spree. Apart from breaking records, Bahubali is one of those films which the Indians can be proud of. The film managed to create a record on its opening day itself. Bahubali earned Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office. The film made a total of Rs 60 crore on day 1, which is one of the biggest first day total ever made by any film. Earlier, the record was with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Happy New Year which earned Rs 44.97 crore as the highest first day collection.

Rs 100 crore in 35 hours: While there have been many Rs 100 crore films in Bollywood, SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali did something which nobody ever thought of. Bahubali is the first ever Indian film to earn Rs 100 crore within 35 hours of its release. Other films usually take 3-4 days to reach the Rs 100 crore mark, but Bahubali was able to achieve the feat within 35 hours. The magnum opus film, made in a budget of Rs 250 crore, started minting money since the ticket windows opened.

World’s largest movie poster ever: Karan Johar and SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Bahubali, has entered the Guinness Book of World Records. The film, which stars Prabhas, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty, has created history yet again, this time for having the world’s largest poster. The poster that was unveiled, lays sprawling on the floor in Kochi. The social media team of the film shared the poster on their page and tweeted, "Team #Baahubali is proud to share this image which shows the World Record poster that was unveiled in Kochi yesterday." Biggest ever budget for any Indian film: India's answer to Hollywood's hit film series 300, is a grand visual delight in every sense. The epic drama featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty is made on a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore. Featuring never seen before gravity defying stunts shot in a grand manner, huge sets and beautiful cinematography, Bahubali is all that we need for a mega entertaining experience. From bringing about 1000 horses from Rajasthan for shooting, to building swords, armour, jewellery from scratch, the film has all elements to boast about, including a very expensive romantic song sequence which will not be shown on social media or television. The SS Rajmouli directed film has released in three languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and is backed by Karan Johar.

Epic set with highest number of artists: Bahubali has not only turned out to be a record smashing venture in India but the film has done wonders internationally too. A lot has gone into the making of this magnum opus, from the sets to the props used in the film, a minute detailing has gone into the making. Each scene of the film proves that Indian cinema has come a long way and has matched up to the level of Hollywood films which seemed impossible a few years ago. According to reports, approximately 20000 weapons, swords and armours were prepared for the movie which was used by over 2000 junior artistes during the was sequences of the film. Well, this is certainly one of the biggest achievement by any film.
