The wedding celebrations may be over but the Khans aren't in the mood to stop the party anytime soon. After a lavish housewarming party hosted by the newlyweds in their new apartment, it was time once again for them to play the host. This time for their mother - Salma Khan's birthday. According to a report in Business of Cinema, the entire Khan family gathered together at Arpita's home to wish Salma Khan on her 72nd birthday. A lot of pictures were clicked and shared at the party. Salman who couldn't attend his little sister's housewarming party, was present for Salma's birthday party.

The celebrations continued for Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma even after their big fat wedding and the following reception have concluded. According to a report in Apunkachoice, the duo threw a housewarming party for their family and close friends in their plush new apartment in Bandra. Arpita, who is into interior designing, has designed her new pad in shades of beige and black. The 3BHK terrace flat at Carter Road was apparently Salman's wedding gift to Arpita. The entire family was present at the do minus Salman Khan who is busy shooting, and Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan. The 'khan'daan had many selfie sessions and even gathered together for a group picture.

Katrina Kaif was reportedly upset over the way Salman took a dig at her at Arpita Khan's wedding. Reports suggested that the actress was miffed about the fact that the video of the incident was leaked online. However, according to a video report on Yahoo, the actor has reportedly apologised to the actress and clarified that he was just joking and didn't intend to hurt her feelings. The report claims that the actor visited Katrina at her residence to apologise and Katrina accepted the apology with a smile.

Katrina Kaif had made it to the Arpita Khan wedding despite the fact that her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor wasn't invited. The actress even performed for the bride, whom she is close to. However according to a report in Business of Cinema, what transpired at the do, didn't go down well with the actress. The episode where Salman referred to her as Katrina Kapoor and commented cheekily on how she had missed the opportunity to be Katrina Khan, wasn't exactly pleasant for the actress. Though she sportingly went up to the stage and shook a leg with those present, she was seemingly upset with the entire incident. Apparently even the bride went up to the actress to explain that the episode was a mere joke. Things reportedly worsened when the video of Salman taking digs at Katrina went viral.

Salman Khan calls Katrina as 'Katrina Kapoor': Salman Khan is known for pulling the leg of his co-stars during the making of their films and also during film promotions. During Arpita's wedding, Salman Khan, who was constantly on stage singing or dancing was also seen pulling Katrina's leg. While Salman was on stage Katrina's popular song 'Chikni Chameli' was played. According to a Bombay Times report, Salman, who was in high spirits started calling Katrina on stage. He said Katrina tumhara gaana bajj raha hai. An embarrased Kat tried hiding behind Karan Johar, but it was of no use. Salman then called Karan on stage and asked him to bring Katrina along. The report further states, when she finally walked towards the stage, Salman joked, "Mai kya karoon... I gave you a chance to become 'Katrina Khan', but you chose to be 'Katrina Kapoor'!"

Arpita couldn't have asked for a better gift from the Greek God of Bollywood on her wedding reception night. According to a report on NDTV Movies, Hrithik being the gentleman that he is decided to serenade the bride with a special dance. He waltzed with Arpita on the dance floor in what was a dream sequence straight out of a Bollywood film. The actor also danced with Arpita's husband Aayush Sharma. Sohail Khan joined the duo on the dance floor. Hrithik also shook a leg to 'Chaiya Chaiya' with both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, stealing the show with his signature moves.

Salman further said, "Your expressions were so bad in the picture, it seemed you were actually enjoying it. To this Shah Rukh, who was seeing off Salman's mother Salma Khan replied, "More than me your expressions were bad." Looks like these morphed pictures have given both the Khans another reason to enjoy.

Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan's dance: Everyone got to witness different moods of Salman Khan during the wedding of his sister dearest, Arpita Khan. The superstar seemed to have a blast during his sister's wedding. The actor who danced his heart out at the wedding, performed with the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra. Salman and Priyanka, who have shared screen space with each other in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and Salam-E-Ishq were seen shaking a leg together. As per a source at Arpita Khan's wedding Salman and Priyanka danced on their hit numbers like 'Mujhse shaadi karogi', 'Lal duppata,' 'Saalam-e-ishq' and many others. Also present on the stage was Aamir Khan. The actress also read Aprita's wedding note for the family when the bride became too emotional to read it.

Salman introduces 'girlfriend': Arpita Khan's wedding has become one of the most talked about weddings of the year. After Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali, Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan once again introduced a lady as his "girlfriend" at his sister Arpita Khan's wedding in Hyderabad, reports Mumbai Mirror. No one was left in doubt about the fact that Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur are a couple. The tabloid quoted a source present at the wedding, “Salman and Iulia were always together.There have been rumours linking him to Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, but the fact is that Salman is in love with Iulia. She is very comfortable with his family too." Back in Mumbai, Iulia is staying in a 5-star hotel in Bandra, which is at a distance of a stone's throw from Salman's apartment. "And Salman is paying the bills," added the source, says Mirror. He met Iulia in 2011 when he was shooting for Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin.

Hangover Tablets: The Khans seem to have played perfect hosts to the guests. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the opulent Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad was booked for three days to accommodate star guests at the mega wedding. And all the guests were in for a surprise when they stumbled upon a special gift in their rooms after the big night of celebrations. It was a 'Hangover Kit' (containing headache pills) for “maximum relief from last night's overindulgent behaviour" with “love and concern from Arpita and Aayush," besides a pack of mints!

Arpita's 'kalira' ceremony: Since the time Arpita's wedding cards were out in the media, speculations were rife about the presence of Katrina Kaif at the wedding. However, putting all the rumours to rest, the actress made her presence felt at Arpita's wedding. Among all the glitz and glamour, the biggest highlight of the wedding rituals was Arpita's 'kalira' ceremony. The 'kalira' ceremony is one of the rituals of a Punjabi wedding during which the would-be bride shakes her hands (which has 'kalira' tied to the bangles) over the heads of unmarried girls. If a leaf or a part of the 'kalira' falls on the head of any girl, it is believed she will be the next to get married. According to a report on pinkvilla.com, during Arpita's wedding, the leaf from the 'kalira' fell on Katrina Kaif's head! Arbaaz's son Arhaan's performance: Before Arpita and Aayush Sharma's wedding took place, there were reports in the media that Arpita's brothers will be giving a special performance for the sister. All the three brothers along with Sajid Nadiadwala performed a special towel dance on Salman's famous song 'Jawani phir na aaye.' However, according a report in Bombay Times, the main attraction of the wedding night was the performance of Arbaaz Khan and his son Arhaan. Arbaaz, who is a good singer in real-life gave company to Mika Singh on stage. Further to the Bombay Times report, Arbaaz's son Arhaan made a smashing entry on the stage stripping off his jacket and hurling on the ladies sitting beside the stage. The crowd cheered for the junior Khan as he performed some fantastic moves. A guest was heard saying, "He will soon give Shahid and Hrithik a run for their money."

Arpita Khan's emotional speech: Arpita's wedding was indeed an emotional moment for the Khans. But the most touching moment of the wedding was Arpita's letter for her family. Salman's little sister got so emotional and choked with emotions that she requested Priyanka Chopra to read the letter. As per a report in Bombay Times the letter read, "I am the luckiest girl to be brought up in a family like mine," Arpita wrote in her speech, adding that her brothers are her pillars of strength. "Sohail bhai and I shared the same room until he got married — he's like a friend to me. Arbaaz bhai is like my guide, he always told me what's good and what's bad. Salman bhai, though, has the biggest heart. For him, I can do no wrong. Everything I did, he was there to support me."

Salman and Salim Khan blessing Arpita: According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the bride-to-be had arrived on Monday with her famous family and checked into Falaknuma, which has reportedly been booked at the cost of Rs 1 crore per day. After dropping his sister and mother, Salman made another trip to the airport to pick up his soon-to-be brother-in-law. The groom, who had arrived in a horse-drawn carriage flanked by musicians and relatives, was waiting for her. And so, with the saat pheras and sindoor, Arpita wed Aayush in what has become the most talked-about wedding this year.

Arpita with her three brothers: Salman Khan has left no stone unturned in making Arpita Khan's wedding a dream wedding for her. According a report in Mumbai Mirror, Falaknuma Palace, the hotel was booked in Salman's name. The actor booked the duplex presidency room, the bedroom of the sixth Nizam, for Aayush, while Arpita settled into the Queen's suite. Hotel officials took instructions directly from the actor. In this picture Arpita's three brother Salman Khan, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan stood in the mandap as Arpita went ahead to perform one of the rituals of the nuptials.

Priyanka Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala at the wedding: While most of the invitees had flown in from Mumbai, the guest list also included Southern stars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna. Apart from actors, Tennis star Sania Mirza was also spotted having a good time at the wedding. Salman Khan's good friend Priyanka Chopra, who was also present at the wedding with mother Madhu Chopra was clicked with Sajid Nadiadwala and wife Wardha Khan, David Dhawan and his wife Lali Dhawan.
