It seems the Arpita Khan’s wedding dress blunder hasn’t been forgotten by the Khans. Apparently, Salman Khan and his family were invited for the Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla opening show at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 which was attended by the likes of Jaya Bachchan, Twinkle Khanna, Bhumi Pednekar, Dimple Kapadia and Nita Ambani. But reportedly, the Khans gave them a royal snub, as apparently no one from the family attended the event, as reported on BollywoodLife.com. During Arpita Khan’s wedding, it was reported that Salman Khan and his family were not happy with the dress that the designers had designed for the bride. Perhaps the Khans are still holding a grudge.

Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan recently celebrated her first birthday after marriage, with her family and friends in Mumbai. However, Arpita’s ex-flame Arjun Kapoor was rumoured to have attended the star-studded bash which saw the presence of Karisma Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Elli Avram and many others. To this, the furious birthday girl tweeted from Barcelona, where she is holidaying with husband Aayush Sharma, “Do not misreport as Arjun Kapoor was not invited or there ... Just for gossip take a chill pill people.” [sic]

Arpita Khan-Ayush Sharma's Barcelona vacation

While the pre-birthday celebrations were lavish, Arpita Khan Sharma has now taken off to Barcelona with husband, Aayush Sharma to ring in her birthday on August 3. Sharing a few pics of their holiday, Arpita’s husband wrote, “Happy Birthday to the most amazing person @khanarpita .. Love you” Giving away the details of their holiday destination, Ayush wrote, "Back in Barcelona with @khanarpita" [sic] He has also shared a picture of the cerulean seas of Barcelona, which, from the caption, seems to be a view from the window of their vacation room.

Arpita Khan's birthday party raided by cops
Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan celebrated her birthday on August 1 at her Pali Hill apartment. However, according to a report, the Khar police busted the party following complaints of loud music from the neighbours. Several Bollywood celebrities were in attendance at the party when officers at Khar police station received an alert from the Mumbai police control room around 2:30 am after residents complained about the loud music, the report stated. Further to the report, a police team went to Arpita’s apartment and ordered her to turn off the music. An officer was quoted in the report as saying that the organiser of the party, who brought the music system, was told to pay a fine of Rs 12000 and the music system was seized.

Arpita's pre-birthday bash

Arpita Khan Sharma celebrates her birthday on August 3. However, the 'Khan'daan decided to throw her a party on July 31. Much like Arpita's wedding reception, the pre-birthday bash was a star-studded affair. As expected, the entire Khan clan was present at the do. Arpita was seen posing happily with all of them. Also present was Malaika's sister, Amrita Arora. Besides them, Karisma Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Elli Avram, Dino Morea, Pulkit Samrat, Nikhil Dwivedi and Chunky Pandey were also present. Riteish-Genelia, Kunal-Soha and Kabir-Mini came with their better halves to wish the birthday girl. However, what seems to be funny is the fact that after the party, wishes have started pouring in for Arpita. She then took to Twitter to post a clarification. It read: "Thank you all for the birthday wishes but my bday is on the 3rd of August!!!"

Arpita Khan is super excited about the reception at her husband Aayush Sharma's house in Mandi. The preparations have already begun and Arpita posted a picture of her intricate mehendi on her Twitter account. She also tweeted, “Mehendi & the celebrations go on ! Reception in Mandi HP inlaws hometown @aaysharma @amayasuneeta @meaashray” [sic] Arpita also shared a picture where the entire Khan clan can be seen enjoying a lunch, while on their way to Mandi. Arpita married Aayush Sharma on November 18, 2014 and a star-studded reception was held in Mumbai after which the newlyweds left for their honeymoon. Since, Aayush is from Mandi, the second wedding reception is being held there.

Arpita Khan, who got married to her long time boyfriend, Aayush Sharma in 2014, opened up for the first time in a candid interview with Bombay Times. Talking about her biggest support she said that her dad is her backbone, and Salman Khan is the person who makes her believe that she can walk over this world and nothing can happen to her. When asked about running the family post marriage, Arpita quipped that since Aayush is training for Bollywood, her father-in-law supports them and has given them a budget to run the house. From Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif to Kabir Khan and the entire Khan-daan, Arpita and Aayush's wedding nuptials, which took place at Hyderabad's royal Taj Falaknuma Palace, will be remembered for a long time. There's rousing curiosity about Salman's youngest sister, who although has been clicked often and has posed for the shutterbugs, remains largely unknown to the world. Arpita is the adopted daughter of the Khan family and it is alleged that Salma Khan adopted her, while other reports in the media claim that it was Salman's step mother Helen who found Arpita on a street while she was crying, and decided to take her home. There are also speculations that Arpita's biological mother died on the road. Arpita was in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor and dated him when he weighed 140 kg. The duo started seeing each other when Arjun was 18 and the relationship lasted for two years. Arjun said in his interview to NDTV.com, "I was 140 kg, was assisting Nikhil Advani in Salaam-E-Ishq, and had a girlfriend, would party and felt my life was headed in the right direction, and felt sorted and thought that I would direct my film by 22, till she broke up with me and suddenly I was confused about what my future held for me."

With celebs often inking the names of the loved ones on different body parts, Arpita Khan is no exception. The star sister is said to have a tattoo in the shape of a star which has the name of the Khan family on it. Not only that, Arpita also put a picture on her Instagram account showing her tattoo of husband Aayush's name, who did the same by getting 'Arpita' inked on his forearm. According to a report on indiatoday.in, Arpita has a degree from the London School of Fashion and reportedly works at an interior design firm in Mumbai currently. Her beau Aayush is a businessman and is reportedly an aspiring actor too. Salman is said to have gifted a lavish 3 BHK house to the couple, reportedly worth Rs.16 crore. Aayush's father is a minister from Himachal Pradesh Congress party, Anil Sharma, and he is the grandson of late Congress leader Sukhram Sharma. The duo was reportedly dating for a year before tying the knot. Arpita is said to have met Aayush through common friends and started dating him since 2013. According to a report on kollytalk.com, Arpita was to marry Aayush in 2015 but the 50th marriage anniversary of Salim and Salma Khan forced the two to prepone their wedding. She has taken the name Arpita Khan Sharma.
