The cast and crew, along with the lead actors of the movie partied until wee hours of the morning. A guest present at the party told Mumbai Mirror, "After the late night pack-up on Saturday, Aditya and Shraddha, along with the cast, moved to Shaad's cousin's residence for the party which went on till the wee hours. The duo left for Mumbai immediately after the bash, clicking selfies during the flight." 'OK Jaanu' is an official remake of Mani Ratnam's superhit Tamil movie 'O Kadhal Kanmani.'

Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s onscreen love story in Aashiqui 2 was very similar to their real-life one, in more than one ways. They both come from different backgrounds.
