The actress has been juggling few projects for quite a while now. Anushka Sharma has been living the fairytale these past weeks with her secret wedding in Italy that was followed by an exotic honeymoon, two star-studded receptions and an extended holiday in South Africa with hubby Virat Kohli. The actress, however, is now back in Mumbai city and has resumed her film commitments.

Shah Rukh Khan, director Aanand L Rai and team ‘Zero’ had a special surprise in store for the actress on her first day back on the sets. The team gave their leading lady a warm welcome by presenting her with bouquets of flowers along with adorable images from her wedding. Pleasantly surprised and visibly happy with the sweet gesture, the actress shared an image of the bouquets on her social media handle with a note that read, “Great to be back on set... Thank you for this floral welcome guys!! Lots of love.”

According to reports, Shah Rukh, director Rai and team ‘Zero’, collectively decided to keep their shoot on hold to allow their leading lady to fully enjoy this happy period. SRK allegedly didn’t even sign on any other project as he didn’t want shooting schedules to keep him away from the ‘Zero’ sets when Anushka returned.

After hitting the bull’s eye with his social drama ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, director Shree Narayan Singh is all geared up to create the same magic with yet another social drama titled, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. But amidst this, he has reportedly announced another film titled ‘Jasmine’.
Although Shree will not be directing the film, he will be co-producing it with Prernaa Arora. The team reportedly want Anushka Sharma to star in the film. Although the narration is yet to happen, the makers feel she fits the bill perfectly and is eager to pitch it to her. Shree reportedly is looking for a director currently and that the casting will follow later.
According to reports, Jasmine is the journey of a girl from her youth to motherhood, of eternal love between a mother and a child and the makers are reportedly keen on Anushka playing the titular role of a surrogate mother in the film.

A jam packed work schedule has Anushka Sharma travelling through time zones to get the job done. The star, who was in New York City to shoot her cameo in the Sanjay Dutt biopic opposite Ranbir Kapoor, is now on her way back home to continue 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' film promotions.

Imtiaz Ali is all set to bring back the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ duo Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in his next film. Yes, you read that right. Reports had been doing the rounds that Deepika Padukone might be seen romancing SRK in Imtiaz's next directorial, but it seems Anushka has been zeroed in to play Khan's ladylove in the film. As per a report in Miss Malini.com, Deepika Padukone was being considered for the role too but Imtiaz was not keen to repeat her after her three films with SRK – ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’ and the latest one ‘Happy New Year’. The 'Tamasha' director wanted a fresh chemistry and therefore chose Anushka and SRK who were last seen together in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Interestingly, Anushka was offered Deepika’s role in ‘Tamasha’ but she turned it down for not being meaty enough. It seems Anushka is all set to do her third film with SRK.
