Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active social media celebrities in the industry. His constant updates keep his ardent fans glued to his social media profiles as he knows well as to how to keep the audience entertained and engaged. Big B is known to share some of the most peculiar tweets, anecdotes, poetry, movie milestones with his audience and we totally love that.
Recently Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share a detail about his movie ‘Don’ which featured the iconic song ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’. His tweet read, “An after thought, that became THE thought .. song 'khaike paan banaras wala' was done after film DON was completed ..”
For the uninitiated, the film's iconic song ‘Khaike Paan Banaraswala’ was never meant for ‘Don’. It was written for Dev Anand’s film ‘Banarasi Babu’. The song was shot after the entire filming was complete and added post interval to balance the action-packed pace of the film. Actor Manoj Kumar, who saw the rushes, said the film was so gripping that even taking a "toilet break" was difficult. Hence, the song was included on his recommendation. During its recording Kishore Kumar actually chewed paan and spat it on a plastic sheet to make it seem natural.

Amitabh Bachchan: Lesser known facts
Amitabh Bachchan has seen many highs and lows in a career spanning four decades, but the actor said that the most arduous battle a celebrity has to face is that of demotion, reports PTI. The 72-year-old star believes that one needs a lot of strength to survive through the phase of fading success. "Celebrity hood is no different from a champion. The day you lose the success, you shall be relegated to the background and someone else, someone else bigger and better shall occupy the chair which you had warmed for several years, never expecting it to be snatched away," [sic] he wrote on his blog.
Big B drew comparisons between being a celebrity and a champion while discussing about World's number one Novak Djokovic's win over Swiss star Roger Federer in Wimbledon final. "It is the toughest battle that a celebrity faces. Lauded and applauded with unprecedented love and affection one day and then another day it's all gone. Gone to another. You need the strength of a bull, a skin of a rhino and the roar of a lion to understand the phenomena that unfolds. It needs guts to withstand the demotion, to seek its acceptance with grace and dignity and to realise before long, its presence and its eventuality. We shall all go through this and we shall learn to survive within it," [sic] he concluded.
