Zubeen Garg’s mortal remains arrived at the airport on Sunday morning, greeted by thousands of fans who had come to welcome the singer back home one last time. Hundreds of fans stayed up all night to bid farewell to Zubeen Garg. Before his mortal remains reached Guwahati, many had gathered outside his residence to pay a musical tribute to the 'Ya Ali' singer.Gathering outside his home and fulfilling his last wish, they sang the heartfelt Assamese song 'Mayabini Ratir Bukut' to express their love and grief. A video shows a group of fans singing the iconic song outside his home.

For those unversed, 'Mayabini Ratir Bukut' was extremely close to Zubeen’s heart. At a concert, he had even urged his fans to sing this song when he passes away. A clip of the same has gone viral after the singer’s demise.As reported by Guwahati Plus, he had said, “This song is my fantasy. When I die, the entire Assam has to sing this song.” Fans honoured his wish exactly as he had hoped.Despite their grief, fans came together to celebrate Zubeen’s life and music. By singing 'Mayabini Ratir Bukut', they expressed their love and kept his memory alive.

Zubeen’s wife reacts on the FIRs filed against his manager

After Zubeen’s demise, FIRs were reportedly launched against the organisers and Zubeen’s manager. As reported by TOI city desk, in response, Garima Saikia Garg made an emotional plea on Saturday, urging the public and authorities to withdraw all FIRs against Siddhartha Sarma, the singer’s close aide and manager.In a heartfelt video message, she said, “I appeal to everyone, please withdraw all FIRs against Siddharth and let everything pass off peacefully.”


Manager praised for unwavering support during challenges

She added, “Please allow Siddhartha to be part of Zubeen’s final journey. I request everyone to set aside any negative thoughts about him. I need all my people around me tomorrow, and I will need Siddharth’s support, without him, I cannot do anything.” She emphasised that Siddhartha has been “like a brother to Zubeen since the beginning” and played a vital role in both his personal and professional life.
