Zoa Morani was in the news last year after being one of the first few celebrities to have tested positive for coronavirus. The actress and her entire family were diagnosed with COVID-19 and after recovering, Zoa had spoken about her battle with the virus that has claimed millions of lives across the globe ever since the pandemic began.
In a recent interview, Zoa appealed to people who have recovered from Covid to donate plasma, which would help those battling the disease.
The actress had donated plasma after recovering and said that it was the need of the hour given the steep rise in cases in the past month. She said that if possible, she would have loved to donate once again and requested people to step ahead and donate if they were eligible. Zoa even said that the second wave of the pandemic had been heartbreaking and compared to last year, things were worse this time around. She admitted that she never thought the second wave would have been so devastating in its intensity and hoped that things got better soon.
Zoa’s sister, Shaza Morani was in the news earlier this year after she tied the knot with Priyaank Sharma, son of
Padmini Kolhapure and
Pradeep Sharma. The wedding took place in the Maldives and Zoa had shared a number of pictures from the idyllic beach wedding.
