Zoa Morani: I have been quite a brat, my mistakes taught me a lot
The ‘Bhaag Johnny’ fame actress Zoa Morani made her way into Bollywood as an assistant director with ‘Om Shanti Om’ in the 2007. Though she started with the field of direction, her ultimate goal was to become an actor only. In a candid interaction, the Zoa said that she assisted directors only to get a knack of a film set for her acting career. There are several other topics on which the actress poured her heart out. The #MeToo movement in Bollywood has touched everyone in one way or the other. While some came in strong support of the alleged victims, some other gathered the gut to come up in the light. When Zoa was asked about her take on the #MeToo movement, the actress quoted,
“It's beautiful to see women gathering the courage and coming out with their experiences. One can only pray that the purity of this movement doesn't get tarnished by others with the wrong intention.”
“I have always tried to be honest with myself”
Zoa Morani is one of the most active celebrities on the social media. The actress makes sure to pour her heart out on any subject that interests her and loves to connect with people. Spilling some beans on the same, Zoa said, “I have always tried to be honest with myself. How we treat others, is how we will be treated. I love to feel loved, so I love to love others too. At the same time, being kind and having a genuine connection with people every day of your life is such a fulfilling feeling that it gives me peace in my heart.”
Though in the present day, Zoa Morani has a humble personality, she confessed the scenario wasn’t always the same. She said, “I was quite a spoiled brat when I was younger. My failures have taught me so much that I am so thankful to god for them; as it made me the person I am today. I feel love so much more now than I use to when I was younger.”

In a no holds barred conversation, Zoa Morani also spoke about the way she looks at the regional cinema. The actress seemed really positive on the way the regional cinema has changed.
“Regional cinema is changing colours and it's beautiful to see such lovely films and talented people showcasing their work. It makes our country richer and stronger in the movie-making world. Moreover, it's nice that equal respect is being given to the regional cinema. It is giving people the confidence to come out and show their talent without language being a barrier.”
