Who is Salman Khan's latest discovery Zaheer Iqbal?

Salman Khan has been the godfather to a number of new faces in the film industry. This time, Salman is all set to launch newcomer Zaheer Iqbal in Bollywood. Zaheer is not from a film family, but his father and Salman have been friends for years. It was absolutely by chance that Salman spotted Zaheer at his sister's wedding, where he was doing a stage performance. That's when the superstar decided that he will launch him in the movies.

Sources reveal that since years now, Zaheer has been grooming himself and has undergone grueling sessions to get the perfect look. Zaheer will enter the film industry with a film that will be co-produced by Salman Khan.

Salman will be launching this newbie on the silver screen in a Kashmir-based love story. Salman’s in-house brand SKF (Salman Khan Films) is producing the film along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. This yet-to-be-titled film is set to hit floors in September 2018 and will be helmed by Nitin Kakkar, who directed 'Filmistaan' (2013).

The leading lady opposite Zaheer is also likely to be a fresh face and is expected to be finalized shortly.

Salman is super confident of Zaheer’s abilities and has also been personally training him. The Bhai of Bollywood calls him ‘Zahero’ out of love and now even the film’s crew calls him Zahero. Incidentally, the superstar personally did Zaheer’s photo shoot recently.

Allegedly, Zaheer was initially dating Deeksha Seth who made her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin, Armaan Jain in 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil', and then went ahead to become a popular star in the South-Indian films. But reports now suggest that Zaheer is currently dating pretty actress-model Sana Saeed who was seen in Karan Johar’s movie ‘Student of the Year’ in a supporting role.
