'Yudhra' actress Malavika Mohanan reveals Vicky Kaushal is her 'oldest friend'; says their families celebrate Diwali together

Malavika Mohanan recenlty opened up about her childhood friendship with Vicky Kaushal. The actress also talked about the special bond they still cherish today.

In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Malavika referred to Vicky Kaushal as a "forever friend." She explained that they have known each other since she was just a year old, having been neighbors in the same building during their childhood. This close proximity led to their families becoming friends, creating a lifelong bond.



She also shared that they once enjoyed a picnic at Aksa Beach, where they packed chips and sandwiches and spent the day playing by the shore. Malavika mentioned that they still gather every Diwali, highlighting this tradition as a cherished part of their family celebrations.



Malavika attended Vicky Kaushal’s wedding to Katrina Kaif in Jaipur and shared glimpses on Instagram. She posted a car selfie with the caption about her love for Rajasthan, avoiding any direct mention of the wedding. In the photo, she looked stunning in a purple outfit and chic sunglasses.

Yudhra marks Malavika Mohanan's second Bollywood venture, following her Hindi debut in the 2017 film Beyond The Clouds. With her strong background in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, this action film is expected to be a significant reintroduction for her in the Hindi film industry.



On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his role in Laxman Utekar's Chhava, where he will play Sambhaji, the Maratha emperor and son of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Additionally, he will star in Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
