Actor Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s elder son Yatra has captured the attention of fans, following his latest red-carpet appearance at the 2025 International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
The 19-year-old was spotted making an appearance to support his grandfather, Rajinikanth, who was honoured for completing 50 years in cinema. The Superstar was joined on the carpet with his entire family, including wife Latha Rajinikanth, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, son-in-law Vishagan Vanangamudi, and grandchildren including Linga, Ved Krishna, and Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi.
Yatra Raja's striking looks leaves fans swooning
While Dhanush was not present, his eldest son seemed to have made up for his absence with his striking resemblance. Dressed in an all-black shirt and trousers, Yatra quickly became the talking point online as photos and videos from the event went viral.
Fans call Yatra a perfect mix of Dhanush and Rajinikanth
Fans flooded platforms with comments praising Yatra’s handsom looks. However, the internet couldn't quite seem to decide if the hunk looked more like his father or his grandfather. All, could not deny that he did indeed appear to carry traits of both Dhanush and Rajinikanth.
A fan commented, “Yatra looks like a young version of @dhanushkraja sir… his attitude looks like #Thalaivar #Rajinikanth sir.”
Another commented, "Watching the elder one is an eye feast...he looks both like Rajini and Dhanush."
Still another added, "What a perfect blend of Dhanush and Rajini."
“Watching the elder one is an eye feast… he looks both like Rajini and Dhanush,” a comment read, while another user wrote, "Dhanush + Rajnikanth = Yatra.”
Some fans also pointed out that Yatra’s younger brother Linga also resembles Dhanush closely, calling him “ditto Dhanush.”
With the next generation of the Rajinikanth–Dhanush family making public appearances more frequently, fans appear eager to see whether Yatra or Linga will eventually step into the world of cinema.
