While most of Bollywood have taken to showcasing their skills like singing, painting or cooking during the pandemic,
Yami Gautam goes and does something hatke - make a kaajal at home.
The dainty beauty recently posted a selfie where her eyes have lined with kaajal made by her at home. Writing a note, she shared: "Having patiently observe my Naani as she would make ‘Kaajal’ at home for us girls, whenever we would visit her during summer holidays." With those moments etched in her mind, she added it "has left me with some really sweet memories- the fresh scent of the burnt oil wick, smeared with ghar-ka ghee & then stuffing it in a small antique container, which I still posses (sic)."
Sharing another picture of a diya burning with neath a container, Yami wrote: "Finally, made ‘kaajal’ myself today & the feeling took me back to those innocent & much-treasured memory lanes." On the workfront, she'll be seen opposite
Vikrant Massey in Puneet Khanna's 'Ginny Weds Sunny', which will release online.
The film has been produced by
Vinod Bachchan.
