Since the day the makers of '83 announced, fans are excited to see
Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. There are rumours doing the rounds on the Internet that World cup winning captain
Kapil Dev will be training Ranveer Singh. Ranveer has also started prepping for the film and was seen practicing at the nets in Mumbai.
Recently, there are reports doing the rounds that Ranveer Singh’s ‘83 will be his first multi-language film.
As per a report, the film will be made in Tamil and Telugu aside from Hindi which will make it Ranveer’s first trilingual film. It’s a first for
Kabir Khan (Director ) and Ranveer (actor) both. A source revealed that World Cup is a historical event in Post-Independence since India and cricket and movies are akin to religion in the country and are bound to resonate with audiences across ages and strata, due to this film’s producers have decided to shoot for the Tamil and Telugu versions simultaneously.
The '83 event saw winning squad comprised of Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, Sunil Gavaskar, Kirti Azad, Yashpal Sharma, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Roger Binny, Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Sandeep Patil, Syed Kirmani, Madan Lal, Ravi Shastri, Dilip Vengsarkar & Sunil Valson, and their manager P R Man Singh.
The film will be released PAN India during the
Good Friday weekend of 2020 on April 10th.
