Why Abhishek Bachchan ensured that Asin call him ‘AB’ and not ‘Bhaijaan’ while shooting 'All Is Well'

Asin and Abhishek Bachchan had just finished doing Bol Bachchan together when they started shooting for Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well.
Since Asin played Abhishek’s sister in Bol Bachchan, she addressed him as ‘Bhaijaan’ in the film. Even at times when the camera would not be on, Asin would continue addressing Abhishek as ‘Bhaijaan’, so she got used to calling him that.

For the first few days of shooting All Is Well, Asin still continued calling him ‘Bhaijaan’ that obviously sounded strange to people on the set, as this time, Abhishek and Asin were playing lovers.

Telling us about it, Asin said, ‘’I remember Abhishek came to me and said, ‘No ‘Bhaijaan’ on this film.’ I understood what he was trying to say. While we are professional actors who would remain true to our characters on screen irrespective of what we called each other off screen, it sounded strange to people around us on set. That’s when I started calling him ‘AB’.’’ Asin now addresses him comfortably as only ‘AB’, which is what she has saved his name as on her mobile.
