As expected from the trailer, 'Dhurandhar' has indeed impressed the audiences with its stunning action sequences and magnificent performances. Interestingly, Danish Pandor has suddenly become the centre of attention for his electrifying performance in the Ranvir Singh starrer.

Praises are all in for Danish for his portrayal of the unflinching Karachi mobster ‘Uzair Baloch’, despite having limited screen time.

Early life and acting foundation in Mumbai

Born on December 22, 1987, in Mumbai, Danish began his career as a model. In 2007, he participated in the Gladrags Manhunt contest and placed in the top five. His passion for acting gradually took over, and he sharpened his craft at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute with a four-month acting course, all while continuing his college studies. Danish worked tirelessly through small roles and modelling projects before earning significant breaks.

Faced casting couch pressure

As reported by Filmi Beat, Danish faced pressure from the casting couch when he first entered the industry. This experience shook him, but did not break him. With determination, he stepped into television with 'Kitni Mohabbat Hai'. He later appeared in 'Agent Raghav', 'Crime Branch' and 'Ishqbaaz'. His rise continued in the OTT space and his popular ones are ‘Bada Badariya’ in 'Sacred Games', followed by 'Matsya Kaand' and 'Bombers'.

Breakthrough with ‘Uzair Baloch’

In 'Dhurandhar', Danish plays Uzair, the cousin and right-hand man of Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehmat Dakait. Fierce, merciless, and fiercely loyal, Uzair helps build the operational structure of the gang. Danish’s performance has become one of the most talked-about elements of the film.
