When Yash revealed he didn't like Ranveer Singh's performances and called Ranbir Kapoor 'distracted
Back in 2018, Kannada superstar Yash shared candid views on Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor during an interview with ETV Bharat Films and TV.The KGF star reflected on his evolving opinions about Ranveer, admitting he initially didn’t appreciate Ranveer’s performances. However, Yash credited filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for transforming his perception, pointing to 'Bajirao Mastani' as the turning point.“Ranveer Singh, I never used to like his work initially, but... in Bajirao Mastani, he was amazing. And in Padmavat, he was stunning,” Yash remarked during the interview.Yash also shared thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor, revealing his admiration for Ranbir’s work in Sanju but adding that he sensed a “distracted” quality in some of Ranbir's other performances. “Ranbir Kapoor, I saw him in Sanju.I saw a lot of his work; he was too good. I don’t know; off late, I felt he was a little distracted,” Yash commented, noting that Sanju stood out as a strong performance by Ranbir.Yash also talked about Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan and called them his all-time favorites.Looking ahead, Yash is now set to star in upcoming projects like Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups which is directed by the Malayalam filmmaker Geethu Mohandas.
