When singer Ananya Brahma got duped of by fraudsters

is popularly known for her performance in acting and singing. Hailing from the Northeast, she made her debut as a playback singer in the Bollywood movie

Char din ki Chandni

in 2013. With a dream to make it big in the Bollywood, she had some bad experiences in her initial days of career. Recently she shared her ordeal with us. Talking about the same, Anaya says, “Initially, when I came to Mumbai I got signed up with a company associated with a very popular celebrity face. Four years of my career were wasted at that time because they kept on lying to me about the launch, meeting etc. I was even selected for a reality show but they didn't allow me to do that. I was duped of lakhs on the pretext of getting launched but they didn't launch me.”

She has sung some popular songs including Aio Haima, Ambo bongla, munde bad ne share,lagan lagi and many others. She further adds, “That was really a terrible phase of life for me. At that time, I was new in the industry and was completely raw. I didn't have any idea of these kinds of fraudulent companies. But I got lessons from there and became more careful about my choices. However, I regret that four years of my career were wasted. I was shattered and clueless at that time. But I gathered courage and started working on my craft. Because this field is all about the choices we make.” Talking about the current scenario, the singer says, “Today, I am happy that I didn't give up and decided to prove myself. Not only in singing, I was lucky enough to get a chance to act also. I believe that it's a god's present to me.”
