When Randhir Kapoor opened up about Rajiv Kapoor's comeback to Bollywood after 30 years
Late actor Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor's younger brother Rajiv Kapoor passed away on Tuesday (February 9), after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The 58 year old actor had been staying with Randhir Kapoor at their ancestral home in Chembur since the past few months. In October 2020, ETimes had interacted with Randhir Kapoor and had asked him about his brother Chimpu Kapoor (Rajiv Kapoor). Interestingly, Randhir had then revealed that Rajiv was planning to make a film and also act in one. “He kept a low profile even during his growing up years. He doesn't even stay in Mumbai. He's settled in Pune. He plans to make a film, soon. For now, he's acting in Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming film ‘Toolsidas Junior’. And, he's open to doing more roles in days to come if the offers are good. Actor kabhi retire nahin hota,” shared Randhir Kapoor.

Earlier today, a heartbroken Randhir Kapoor had confirmed to ETimes that his youngest sibling had passed away, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.”
