Bollywood filmmaker and Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal passed away on June 30, after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 49. Last year, in October, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had taken off on a much-needed vacay to their holiday home. The couple owns a plush villa in Madh island and Raj had captured a quick selfie with Mandira during their stay. Pulling her mask down for a quick moment, Mandira was all smiles for the picture. Posing against the swimming pool, Raj had captioned the memory as, “With my life at the beach house”.

On June 14, 2020, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal marked 21 years of togetherness. Sharing a glimpse of their celebrations, Raj had posted on Instagram, “Happy 21st jaan”. Mandira and Raj had tied the knot in 1999 and have a 9-year-old son named Vir. Last year, the couple had announced that they have adopted a 4-year-old girl. Raj and Mandira named her Tara Bedi Kaushal, lending both their surnames to their daughter.

Back in 2019, Raj Kaushal had dedicated two posts to Mandira Bedi on the occasion of her birthday on April 15. Referring to the actress as his ‘jaan’ and ‘superstar’, the filmmaker had shared, “Wishing a very happy birthday to the most amazing woman in my world. Happy birthday my jaan. My SuperStar.” In April this year, Raj had penned yet another endearing note for Mandira and shared, “Wishing my quintessential Superwoman a very happy birthday. How lucky am I.”

Raj Kaushal had clicked this adorable selfie while celebrating a light moment with wife Mandira Bedi. Their funky glasses read “Ho Jaayega Aur Bolo” and “Koi Shaq” - which also inspired Raj Kaushals’ caption for this picture, “Sabh theek ho jayega. Koi shaq? Cheers”.
