In an old interview with E! News back in 2021, Nick Jonas shared his hopes of having a large family with Priyanka Chopra, emphasising her as his priority and expressing excitement for their future journey together as parents.

The singer referred to Priyanka as "the most important piece of the puzzle," expressing his hope to have children and emphasising that starting a family was something they both desired. He said they were fortunate to have each other and a "full heart for the future," while acknowledging that some things were beyond their control. Jonas believed that a strong foundation and excitement about the possibility of starting a family would lead to a "beautiful journey," hoping for "many" children or whatever the future holds. He stated that they would figure things out as they went, focusing on ensuring they were both in a good place.

Priyanka and Jonas married on December 1, 2018. The wedding took place in Jodhpur. They honoured both of their cultures with a Christian and a Hindu wedding ceremony. On January 15, 2022, the couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy.

On the work front, Priyanka is planning a Bollywood comeback, potentially in 2025, after appearing in the Hindi film The Sky Is Pink (2019).
