once during her appearance on ‘The
Kapil Sharma Show’ back in 2017 expressed her desire to meet her daughter in law, who was none other than the very popular character ‘
Guthi
’.
It all started when
Sunil Grover came as one of his much-loved characters Dr. Mashoor Gulati. This is when Neetu Kapoor mentioned that she believes her son Ranbir got married to either his sister or someone, and the two even went on honeymoon. Thereafter a montage was played featuring the clip of the show wearing Guthi was seen romancing Ranbir. After watching the video, the actress said that she wants to meet her daughter-in-law in person. She also said she would like to give kangan or something to her.
Fulfilling her desire, Sunil came as Guthi on the stage dressed as Guthi. He treated the Kapoors as the in-laws. At this point, Kapil couldn’t control himself and turned the whole scene more comic by asking Neetu what kind of bride she has selected for Ranbir. On this Neetu replied that it is already done, what can she do now. The two got married and went on a honeymoon. All she had to do, was to give kangan, and that she did.
Jokes aside, Ranbir Kapoor as of now is in a relationship with
Alia Bhatt. They two will also be seen in the fantasy drama, ‘Brahmastra’.
