When Milind Soman’s THIS throwback photo brought back 90s magic and ‘Made in India’ memories
Milind Soman an athlete, actor, and cultural icon -defined an entire era of Indian pop culture. His charm ruled the 90s, and his fitness journey continues to inspire people even today. A few years ago, he delighted fans by sharing a young photograph of himself, a picture that instantly transported everyone back in time.
Fans filled the comments section with admiration and nostalgia, calling it a “perfect moment.”
In a 2021 interview with the Indian Express, Alisha Chinai revealed how determined she was to have Milind in the video. She recalled telling director Ken Ghosh:
“I had to catch him by the collar and tell him I want Milind Soman, I want the snakes, the astrologer, the elephant, and all the Indian elements. Then he made up the whole story. The colours and the Indian-ness looked so magical.”
“The first time I did the Ironman at 50, it was a test of willpower. Ten years later, at 60, it became a celebration of balance, body, mind, discipline, and consistency,” he said, adding, “Age doesn’t slow you down; inconsistency and indiscipline do.”
His message was clear: staying active and disciplined matters far more than age.

Milind shared the throwback on Instagram with a light and humorous caption. He revealed that the photo was taken when he was just 24, back in 1990. He captioned it, “#ThrowbackThursday 1990 when I used to shave, wear suits and shoes, age 24.”His iconic music video with Alisha Chinai
