Milind Soman is known as a fitness enthusiast, especially as a daily runner, he never misses an opportunity to do what he loves doing the most – running. So, when he was shooting recently for director
Manish Gupta’s film ‘One Friday Night’, he did not use the car provided to him, but instead he actually ran all the way from his resort to the shoot location which was situated several kilometres away.
Director Manish Gupta said about Milind’s feat, “His passion for running is exemplary, every single day of the 25-day shoot, Milind ran from his resort to the shoot location that was atop a hill, with a jagged rocky surface, yet the rough uphill climb did not deter Milind for even one day” Little wonder then, that at 59 years of age, Milind easily outruns many 20-year olds during the marathon.
Recalling an another incident, when Milind Soman strutted about in his briefs on the sets of ‘ONE FRIDAY NIGHT’, director Manish Gupta revealed, "Milind Soman is famous for running on the beach stark naked. When he met me for the first time for the narration of my film ‘One Friday Night’, Milind asked me whether I've seen on social media the photograph of him running naked on the beach. I was a little taken aback on this strange question. Then, Milind proudly showed me that photograph on Instagram, of him running stark naked on the beach."
Soon later, when the shooting began, the director Manish Gupta noticed Milind Soman strutting all over the shoot location in nothing but his briefs! Upon the director questioning Milind about the reason for his ‘dressing down’, Milind shrugged and said, “it’s comfortable”. Even upon co-star
