When Mallika almost drowned...

Director Sanjay Chhel remembers that while shooting for asequence in Pondicherry, Mallika was required to play a musical instrumentstanding in waist-deep sea water. But while shooting there was this massive hightide that almost dragged her inside the sea. She could feel the sandsinking under her feet. Sanjay Chhel and the production unit was quite concernedand wanted to cancel the shoot. But Mallika insisted on completing the shoot.And now, Mallika���s sensuous look in the scene has turned out to be one ofthe highlights of the film.
