When Kareena Kapoor shared her honeymoon plans with Saif Ali Khan ahead of their wedding: ‘It'll be our 250th honeymoon’

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor once opened up about her relationship with Saif Ali Khan just before their wedding in October 2012. She stated that she was already married to Saif when asked about the wedding rumours.

In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Kareena addressed the marriage rumours directly, stating, "I'm already married to Saif! We just have to legalise it on paper, and we're doing that soon!"

When asked about their honeymoon plans, Kareena humorously remarked on their frequent vacations, saying, "We already go on holidays as if there's no tomorrow. The other day, my friend Arjun Kapoor told me that if Saif and I go on another holiday again, it'll be our 250th honeymoon! But in December, we are taking off again."

Discussing the dynamics of being a married actress in Bollywood, Kareena expressed confidence in balancing her personal and professional life. She drew inspiration from her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore, noting, "Look at my mother-in-law. Her best works were after marriage. She's a huge inspiration for me." Kareena emphasised her determination to continue working with co-stars of her choice, asserting, "Saif and I will continue to work with whoever we choose to."

Reflecting on their five-year live-in relationship, Kareena highlighted the stability and mutual respect they shared. She mentioned their collaborative effort in setting up their home, stating, "We bought our house and did it up together. Being together hasn't changed our work status, so how is it going to change now?"

Kareena also delved into the personal growth she experienced through her relationship with Saif. She credited him with broadening her horizons beyond the film industry, sharing, "He's liberated me as a person. I've learned to appreciate the finer things in life. We go skiing and fishing together, and also to exhibitions and museums... I've developed a keen interest in art, paintings, and even reading now."

Regarding her rapport with Saif's children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, Kareena expressed warmth and affection. She added that she loves them dearly and that they respect her in return.
