When 'Dhurandhar' actor Ranveer Singh opened up about how he performs intense scenes: 'I have very supportive friends'
Ranveer Singh, the inferno who impressed the audience with his performance in ‘Dhurandhar,’ has always experimented with his projects, whether it’s a historical character or a relatable neighbourhood boy. The 40-year-old once opened up about going through a rigorous process to understand the character and emotions through his core, raising a question about how his personal life might be affected.
Giving an instance, the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actor said that if he has to perform an intense sequence for Mr Bhansali, the process is consuming. When he has such scenes, his family, friends, and team are cognizant and provide him with a headspace. “And after a point, I also realise that maybe I should give them a heads up about the upcoming intense scene. I know what I am gonna be like that morning, and when I come back home, so I give everybody a heads up that I am shooting something intense, and request them to bear with me,” he continued, adding that the people in his life are supportive. He even expressed his gratitude for such a blessing.

Ranveer Singh opened up about intense scenes and family support
Singh mentioned that he has a supportive family, who understand his needs, career, and the much-needed headspace. In a 2016 interview with Bollywood Life, the actor recalled how his behavioural patterns are understood, as they are part of the craft. “I have very supportive friends and family that know I am going through something, or rather I am putting myself through something, of course willingly and gladly, but they understand that it's part of the craft,” Ranveer Singh has said during the conversation.Giving an instance, the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actor said that if he has to perform an intense sequence for Mr Bhansali, the process is consuming.
