When Babil saw dad Irrfan on screen

It’s been over seven months since Irrfan bid the world farewell. On the actor’s birth anniversary, January 7, his friends, colleagues and fans across the globe remembered him with a lot of love. Irrfan was among the few actors who made his mark on the international scene as an actor and worked with some of the best directors there. In India, too, he proved that the star-led system can be broken if films are content-driven with rock solid performances.While his professional life played out in the public domain, he kept his personal life shielded from the world. His son Babil often gives a glimpse of some sweet moments that the father-son duo shared.
Recently, the youngster who aspires to be an actor shared two pictures that saw his mood change in ia jiffy when he saw his father’s performance in ‘The Darjeeling Limited’. The film directed by Wes Anderson starred Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. “Watching baba for 30 seconds in Darjeeling limited (sic),” he wrote with the post. Check it out here:

While Irrfan made a place for himself in Hollywood with films like ‘Life of Pi’, he never ignored his career in Bollywood. The actor’s last film, ‘Angrezi Medium’, was the sequel to his earlier film ‘Hindi Medium’, which offered a glimpse into the struggles of a common man.
