During the session, a recordist allegedly dismissed them. He questioned their vocal strength and suggested calling established singers in their place. This moment reportedly left both young artists deeply hurt.Following the incident, Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar reportedly left the studio late that night. They walked together toward Mahalaxmi station, processing the emotional setback. In that moment, Kishore Kumar reportedly expressed doubts about succeeding in the industry. Asha, however, encouraged him strongly and reassured him that his voice would one day rule the world of music.

Years after their rise to fame, both artists reportedly returned to the same studio where the earlier incident had taken place. Interestingly, they encountered the same recordist who had once dismissed them. Kishore Kumar reportedly joked, pointed him out and even asked for a different recordist. However, Asha Bhosle calmly intervened. She reminded him that time had changed and suggested they focus on their work and music instead of the past.

Riteish Deshmukh’s emotional tribute

The upcoming episode also features actor Riteish Deshmukh, who shares a heartfelt tribute to Asha Bhosle. He recalls a personal memory involving her warmth and kindness, especially a moment when she cooked his favourite dish herself.Deshmukh said, "When I met her she gently placed her hand on my head, just like a mother does with her child. I used to call her Asha Aai, and I still address her the same way today.In the middle of a casual conversation she asked me ‘What do you like? What do you enjoy eating?’ When I told her about my favourite dish, she personally cooked it for me and invited me to her home. I went there, we shared a meal, and spent a lot of time talking.
