The couple who is known to paint the town red with their every appearance and gesture, had their we time in Brisbane as they completed one more successful year of their happy married life. Their relationship stood the test of time as the couple never left each other’s side. A perfect example of the same was seen when during an event for a sporting goods company, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli shared a fun banter. At the event, the ‘Pari’ star Anushka was asked to sledge Virat, so she acted as the wicketkeeper, as Virat Kohli took a stance. In the spirit of the moment hilariously took a jab at her husband. "Come on come on Virat. Aaj 24th April hai, aaj toh run bana le (Today is 24th April. At least make some runs today).”

For the unversed, this was an obvious reference to the April 23 curse of Kohli, where the iconic cricketer tried his hard but scored three ducks on the same date in different years in the IPL.

After Anushka played the game with her words, Virat Kohli didn’t took too long to hit her back with a funnier reply. He said, "Jitne run tumhare team ne April, June, July mein nahi banaye utne match hai mere (Your team has not scored as many runs in April, June or July, as the number of matches I have).”


At the same event, Anushka Sharma also recreated Virat Kohli's animated celebrations on the field. It was a one-time experience to see Anushka running around the stage, screaming in celebration, exactly how Virat does after a catch.
