In an old interview, actor Anil Kapoor once opened up about how Ghai often relied on instinct while filmmaking, sharing an incident that revealed the director’s spontaneous and trust-driven working style.

What Anil Kapoor revealed from the sets

At a special event hosted by Radio Nasha in 2024, Anil Kapoor revisited memories from the making of Taal. Recalling the experience, Kapoor said, "The climax monologue was scheduled to be shot the next day. I told him, "I'm not coming tomorrow." You aren't giving me the scene. He knows me so well that he said, "Theek hai." Mat aa' (Don't come).

He further added, "I woke up the next day and decided not to go. But I was worried about what would happen if I didn't go to the shoot.
