When Ananya Panday crashed a wedding with Sara Ali Khan; 'Started dancing with uncles'

Ananya Panday once shared a hilarious incident that left her fans amused, the time she and Sara Ali Khan gatecrashed a wedding party.


During the 2023 promotions of her film 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', Ananya revealed that she and Sara had been out for dinner when they stumbled upon a lively wedding celebration nearby. “I have crashed a wedding… with Sara! It wasn’t a wedding, it was a wedding party! We were somewhere having dinner and we were walking by. We heard this like loud Hindi music playing, and Sara being Sara was like, ‘I am going in and dancing!’” Ananya recalled.




The actress went on to say that Sara immediately joined the dance floor. “Sara has gone in the middle of the dance floor and started dancing with uncles… and I was like dragging her off the dance floor!” Ananya said, laughing as she reminisced about the spontaneous, fun-filled night.

School memories and Sara’s outspoken nature

In another interview with Mid-day, Ananya opened up about her long-standing acquaintance with Sara, sharing a funny confession about how she used to avoid her in school. “Sara is outspoken now, but, in school, she was even more outspoken; so she was always this myth. I would actually hide from her in school because I used to be terrified. If she was walking down a certain staircase, I would walk down another staircase,” she revealed.

Ananya described Sara as “muhfat”, someone who speaks her mind freely, adding, “She still is, but in school, she was even more muhfat. So, I used to be like, she is going to say something about me.”


On the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in 'Kesari Chapter 2', co-starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. The movie received decent reviews.
