Grandson of the legendary Shashi Kapoor, Zahan plays the titular role in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Faraaz. The family got together for a special screening to support its new member in Bollywood.
Hansal Mehta & Anubhav Sinha’s hostage drama marks Zahan’s debut in Indian cinema. After the release of an engrossing trailer, an exclusive special screening of Faraaz was hosted for the Kapoor clan recently & we have the unfiltered version of how the Kapoors reacted to this thriller.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Neetu Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, father Kunal Kapoor, mother Sheena Sippy & others were left speechless as soon as the screen got dark.The family got teary eyed seeing Zahan on screen for the first time. They also lauded Aditya Rawal’s brutal aggression & expressions in the film.
The Dhaka attack is a relatively raw incident & the story had to be told with sensitivity. Anubhav Sinha’s production has given the new-age talent the right direction as actors.
The film is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Saigal, and Mazahir Mandsaurwala.
