What a night it was! We are talking of Danny Boyles Slumdog Millionaires big night. The whos who of Bollywood was at this event, hosted by Vijay Singh. After a press conference with the cast and crew, began the fun. Amidst dhol beats, the entire Slumdog gang, including the foreign crew members Jim Gianopoulos, Stephen Gilula and Christian Colson, stepped in to party.
Anil Kapoor was in his element. Daughter Sonam looked equally excited. Sridevi, looking pretty, came in with hubby Boney Kapoor. Aamir Khan made a rare appearance. Thespian Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu and Hrithik Roshan with Sussanne were present.
Madhuri Dixit, who is in Mumbai currently made an appearance. Sushmita Sen, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar, Yash Chopra, Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone and Genelia DSouza were all present. Arshad Warsi and Maria were there hand-in-hand (can we now put rumours of trouble between them to rest atleast for a while?). Jiah Khans red gown did grab a few eyeballs.

Zeenat Aman, Ila and Ishita Arun, Jeetendra and Tusshar Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Ritwik Bhattacharya, Konkana SenSharma and Ranvir Shorey, Imran Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vipul Shah, Gulshan Grover were present among others. All eyes are on our very own music genius A R Rahman for the Oscars.
