The Showman, who prided himself in making only big budget films, has at last showcased his versatility and sensitive side through Black and White, a small budget film that sprung surprisingly from Ghai���s stable under his own directorial baton.
Not many know that there was much thought that went behind not only the film, but also its title.The filmmaker tells us, ���We could have named this film Garam Khoon, Thanda Paani or Chandani Chowk, but we decided on Black and White because like the problem of colour, the problem of terrorism is universal.��� Well, let���s hope Ghai continues to make such meaningful films that touch the hearts of millions. What a show, Mr Showman!
