We have a rocking chemistry: Akshay

It will be difficult to believe that Akshay Oberoi and Sandeepa Dhar, who are debuting in Isi Life Mein, are newcomers given their ease in front of the camera and the confidence they exude otherwise.
Gone are those days when debutants had butterflies in the stomach before their big release. Sandeepa says, “As of now, I’m calm and composed but the excitement is building up as the release date (this Friday) is slowly approaching.I hope that people love my work.” Akshay adds, “The only tension is audience appreciation. You can be very talented but if you are not liked by the people, you are rejected by the industry, too, as no one will back an actor who does not pull the crowd to the theatres.”
Akshay, who plays the role of Vivaan, is also ready for comparisons that will be naturally drawn with Vivek Oberoi as he happens to be his cousin. “I think we are very different actors and there should be no comparison. He has done some good work and I hope when people talk about me in the years to come, they will also say that I’m a good actor.”
Meanwhile, both Sandeepa (who plays the character of Rajnandini in this Rajshri Production’s Sooraj Barjatya film) and Akshay reveal that industry people who have seen the film have loved their chemistry. “It is always good to get positive feedback and we have got some really nice feedback from the industry so far. People say we have a rocking chemistry,” says Akshay. Sandeepa adds, “Through the course of preparing and filming the movie, we learnt so much about each other that we have really become great friends and it is this comfort factor that shows on screen I guess. I have also heard people talking good about our film and how we are looking together. We have to now take the audience test.”
