It was time for celebrations at the Ambani household as Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, tied the knot with beau Anand Piramal in an elaborate ceremony on Wednesday. The wedding ceremony brought together several politicians, industrialists, high profile guests and Bollywood’s biggest stars, under one roof. There among the many, was newlyweds Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh.

While Ranveer looked dapper in an all-white sherwani, Deepika twinned in a white saree with gold detailing that she paired with a contrasting bright red blouse. Wearing her hair in a neat bun, the actress accessorised her look with heavy jewellery.



Photos and videos from the grand ceremony see the couple joined at the hip and always holding hands as they manoeuvred through the crowds and greeted their friends and obliged guests with photos. A photo that sees Deepika blushing while holding on to her doting hubby has been melting hearts while doing the rounds on social media handles.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer is gearing up for the release of his next ‘Simmba’, while Deepika will soon begin work on her next with ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar, based on acid attack survivor Lakshmi Agarwal.
