He made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya' opposite
Sonam Kapoor in 2007. However, did you know that Ranbir also played a role in a short film before his debut? Yes, the Kapoor lad was part of the movie titled 'India 1964' which revolves around capital punishment in India and is about a jailer who has to face the dilemma of performing the execution of his own son.
The short film was apparently directed by Ranbir's friend Abhay Chopra and was nominated for Student Oscars.
Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which also stars in Anushka Sharma,
Aishwarya Rai and Fawad Khan. The movie is slated to hit theatres on October 28, 2016. He will also be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in 'Jagga Jasoos'.
