Watch: Rahul Bose and Aditi Inamdar talk about their film ‘Poorna’

Bollywood actor Rahul Bose returns to direction after a long gap with his film 'Poorna'. The film has got rave reviews from the critics as it tells the story of the youngest girl in history to climb Mt Everest. Talking about the film, the actor said, “It’s the most incredibly inspirational story. How a 13-year-old girl from a small village called Pakala in Telangana climbed the highest mountain in the world.What she’s done is a world record. India needs to know this happened and India needs to have the hope that this can happen again. Girls need to know that they can do anything.”

A class 9 student from Hyderabad, Aditi Inamdar plays 'Poorna' on screen and cannot stop appreciating Rahul Bose. She said, “In Darjeeling I sprained my leg and Rahul didn’t even let my mom touch my leg. He used to do all the dressing by himself.”
'Poorna' is based on a true story of Malavath Poorna, a tribal girl from Telengana who created history on May 25, 2014, by becoming the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest.
