It was a night of celebrations for the Jonas Brothers at the Video Music Awards, as they took home the award for best pop song for their new single, ‘Sucker’. Sadly, for Nick Jonas, he missed his wife Priyanka Chopra during this big win.
Nick arrived solo for the big event that saw his brothers Joe and Kevin arriving with their wives - Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas respectively. The boys even hit the stage after 11 years to perform their hit tracks from their new album.However, Priyanka’s presence was especially missed when the Jonas Brothers were announced as the winners in the pop category.
Videos doing the rounds saw Joe reaching out for a kiss from his wife Sophie, while Kevin also hugged and smooched his wife. However, Nick could only just smile awkwardly and extend a congratulatory handshake to his brother.

Fans were quick to take note of the singer’s priceless reaction and make it into a meme of sorts as they shared posts on social media.



For those wondering about Priyanka’s absence at the event, well she is currently busy with a film schedule. She has, however, been taking time off the sets to be by Nick’s side during his music tour that will go on until February 2020.
