'Merry Christmas' trailer out now: This Vijay Sethupathi-Katrina Kaif starrer promises great chemistry with deep layers and thrill!

The makers of 'Merry Christmas' have left everyone surprised as they dropped the film's trailer ahead of Christmas. It stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi and just the sound of this pair gives us a lot of intrigue. However, the trailer will take your curiousity to the next level.

It begins with Katrina's character meeting a random stranger (Vijay's character) on the eve of Christmas and she suggests that they should celebrate it together. But there seems more to him than what meets the eye. We wonder, is he a ghost? Is he dead? Or does he die after he meets her? The trailer displays some dialogues which stays with you. It also has some thrilling moments with a lot of fun, quirks which will leave you asking for more. The trailer will also make you curious to know what's the mystery. Let's just say, team 'Merry Christmas' has done a spectacular job with this trailer as you look forward to the movie now after seeing it.

Katrina and Vijay's chemistry look promising and so does their acting in the movie. While Sethupathi never fails to leave a mark with his characters, this also seems to be Katrina's best yet. While the trailer does its job, one hopes that the movie lives up to expectations.

'Merry Christmas' is shot in Hindi and Tamil both. The Hindi version also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams. Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar have special cameos in both versions. Pritam has composed the music of the film, which is set to release on January 12, 2024.
