The video in question was shared by the actress on her social media handle in March. In the clip, the actress claimed that she ran away from home as a teen and even admitted becoming a drug addict on her journey to stardom in the Bollywood film industry.

The clip saw her reaching out to her fans amidst the lockdown and on the fifth day of the Navratras. Besides expending her greetings, she also asked her fans if they were “feeling bored, upset, depressed and even crying a lot” which she said is a “good thing” and that it should be looked at with a positive perspective.

“Bure vakt ko bura mat samajhna,” she said before going on to narrate an instance from her youth.
