Set in the backdrop of UP, 'Shorgul' is an upcoming Bollywood political drama directed by Pranav Kumar Singh and Jitendra Tiwari, and produced by 24 FPS film Pvt Ltd and stars Jimmy Shergill, Ashutosh Rana, Narendra Jha and Sanjay Suri in lead roles. This film was first named as 'Zainab' but later on changed to 'Shorgul'. Interestingly, former IT Minister Kapil Sibal has written songs for this film.
Jimmy Shergill, who has carved a niche for himself over the years and is considered to be one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood, will be seen in yet another pivotal and interesting role in 'Shorgul'.
